What to Expect at Your First Botox Appointment

The short answer: your first visit starts with a consultation and facial assessment, followed by a quick treatment and some simple aftercare. Results settle over several days.
The consultation comes first
Every new patient starts with a conversation about your goals and an assessment of your anatomy and how your muscles move. This is where the plan and conservative dosing are decided.
The treatment itself
The injections themselves are quick, using a very fine needle. Most people describe brief, minor pinches. There’s typically no downtime that keeps you from your day.
Aftercare and results
You’ll get simple aftercare guidance for the first hours. Results generally begin to appear within a few days and settle over about two weeks, lasting roughly three to four months.
A follow-up if needed
Because dosing is conservative, a brief follow-up can fine-tune results. This is part of an anatomy-first, no-pressure approach.
