Dysport and Botox in Mansfield, TX: Expert Injectable Solutions

Monica Rocha, BSN-RN · March 16, 2026

Botox and Dysport are both neuromodulators — injectable treatments that temporarily relax specific facial muscles to soften the lines that form with movement. Both are widely used and well studied, and both can produce natural results when they are dosed carefully. The differences are in the details.

How neuromodulators work

When a small, precisely placed amount of product relaxes a targeted muscle, the skin above it creases less. That is why these treatments are most effective on dynamic lines — the frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet that appear when you make expressions.

Botox vs Dysport: the practical differences

Dysport tends to take effect slightly faster and spreads a little more, which can be an advantage across broader areas like the forehead. Botox is often preferred for more precise, localized placement. Neither is universally "better" — the right choice depends on the area, your muscle patterns, and your goal.

Our approach

Monica chooses between products based on your anatomy and desired outcome, and doses conservatively so you still look like you. The goal is softened lines and preserved expression, not a frozen look.

What to expect

Results generally settle over several days and last around three to four months before gradually wearing off. Individual results vary and are reviewed at your consultation.
